What was the highlight of Comfort Hotel Hakodate
Clean, comfortable, bland but a reasonable price and accessible.
The room itself was nothing special, but I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of room I had to walk around even with two double beds and a reasonably sized bathroom. There is nearby (paid) parking just behind the hotel, and it's a short walk from the station and surrounded by plenty of restaurants.
I found the staff polite enough, if perhaps a little stiff and less warm than other places I'd stayed, but not a big deal. My bedroom view was of the alleyway and next doors roof, but nothing unexpected from a budget hotel.

Close to train station. Can use the dining area for small gathering at nite as the rooms are too small.
The rooms are very small. Difficult to open big luggages.
